Silverstein are thrilled to announce a Canadian headlining tour for 2016 in support of their eighth full-length LP I Am Alive in Everything I Touch. The tour kicks off in Quebec City on February 25, and wraps up in Waterloo on April 2, 2016 (full routing below). Joining Silverstein for their Canadian run are California melodic hardcore band Being as an Ocean and Kentucky post-hardcore band Emarosa. Additionally, label mates Cardinals Pride and Youth Decay will be playing on select dates. Rarity, a new act on Rise Records, will be opening all dates.

“It’s always exciting to tour across our home country, but this time is even more special bringing some extremely talented support bands from both Canada and the US,” comments lead vocalist Shane Told. “Fans can expect a great mix of old classics, new jams, and a few rarities thrown in for good measure. It will be a loud, high energy show, with the intensity you’ve come to expect when Silverstein rolls through town.”

Tickets for the tour will be available to purchase today, Friday November 27, at 3PM EST. Fans will be able to purchase tickets directly from http://silverstein.soundrink.com/

Silverstein are currently on tour in the US. The band will wrap up the year with their Stay Warm Festival on December 20th at The Danforth Music Hall featuring Cancer Bats, Beartooth, Capsize, Seaway, Cardinals Pride, and Safe to Say. Tickets for the festival are on sale now. The limited edition VIP ticket bundles that included a Meet & Greet with Silverstein, and other limited edition items are now sold out. Silverstein released I Am Alive in Everything I Touch, in May via New Damage Records in Canada. The album debuted at #18 in Canada and #19 in the U.S, marking the band’s highest SoundScan debut of their 15-year career. The album also landed at #3 on the Billboard Hard Rock Album Chart, #6 on both the Billboard Top Rock Album and Alternative Album Charts and doubled Silverstein’s 2013 release This Is How the Wind Shifts, in its first week of sales.

Formed in 2000 in Burlington, ON, Silverstein is comprised of Told, Paul Koehler (drums), Josh Bradford (guitar), Billy Hamilton (bass) and Paul-Marc Rousseau (guitar). The Juno-nominated group has become as close to a household name as you can get in the post-hardcore scene. The journey from Burlington to over 40 countries manifests itself in the sounds of eight full-length albums, countless EPs and singles. Some 2000 shows, and over one million albums sold, have yet to satiate neither the dynamic five-piece, nor their eager listeners worldwide
